To
obtain a Russian visa we need the following data:
-
full
name of a person (names, surname, date of birth, sex), a copy of the
passport pages with picture, citizenship, passport number and
validity period of the passport;
-
employer,
position, full address, telephone and fax numbers of the company;
-
the
purpose of the visit, dates of the visit, type of visa required
(single, double or multiple) all Russian cities to be visited;
-
city and
country, where the person is going to obtain a visa.
To obtain a visa, the following documents should be presented to the
Russian Consular Office:
-
a valid
passport, duly completed visa application, three recent passport
photos (3x4 cm), photocopy of the first six pages of visitor's
passport are to be sent by a tourist firm to the Russian Consulate;
-
travel
document (ticket) with confirmed dates and itinerary of transit travel
through Russia, as well as a letter from the travel agency with SIT
confirmation of services provided on arrival and departure;
-
a written
invitation from an organization or relatives (friends), located or
residing in Russia - to get an ordinary visa.
